Who Am I? I have tried years to understand who I am.
We live in a society where people don't measure their words and you are force to be like everyone else, because if not, you'll be judged.
We live in a society we call free, but what’s so free about having to cover my face in chemicals for you to like me?
We live in a society we call excepting, but what’s so excepting about having to pretend to be somebody else when I go to school?
Your grades need to be higher, your weigh lower, you stomach flatter, your boobs bigger, your waist smaller, your face prettier, and if you can't achieve all of that you can always have plastic surgery done, just so you can be perfect, wanted and loved, and we all want to be loved, don't we? But What about being happy and healthy?
Society makes sure you think no one will want to be with you if you are not perfect, everyone tells you to be yourself, as long as it suits society's ideology of the normal and perfect human.
For years we have made sure to kill every bit of imagination, creativity and beauty that was left.
Our society is made up of people starving themselves to be as pretty as the girls in the magazines.
Our society is made up of people with depression because they will never be good enough. But we can’t live up to society’s expectations, and we end up hurting ourselves or the ones around us when we try.
So let’s change our society! Instead of hate let’s say hi to people we don’t know. Let’s step out of our comfort zone.
