Greetings! Sony Vegas is a little shitty... I thought you should know that from me, I'm studying Postproduction and all that stuff. If you want to learn a really good program try Adobe Premiere ;) Hope that helps
I have read a bit about that program and I think that Adobe Premiere is very good, but, for editing simple videos in the class, Sony Vegas is enough. Thank you!
